Amanda first appeared in the papers with her friend Coco Lachaise, another member of the Jet Set, in the early 1960s. A bit of drug smuggling led to an internationally approved criminal career - smartly disguised as modelling jobs - which officially allowed her to do some extensive travelling. Therefore Amanda met Alexander Otterbourne in Dakkar during the Rallye. Tired of the escapades she opened a gallery in Chelsea, London. Some time later she moved to Sussex where she moved into an old world picturesque thatched country house and started simply doing nothing. After her demise in 1976 a birth certificate of her daughter Ivory - born in 1960  - was found among her possessions. Father of the child was Alexander Otterbourne.
