Little me sitting in front of the TV set watching the BEAT CLUB wondering why a man with long frizzy black hair and smudged eyeliner singing about a school that is closed forever calls himself Alice. The dramatic but tongue in cheek horror show the Alice Cooper Band were putting on was something new and impressive. Playing "No More Mr. Nice Guy" over and over on a portable record player made Mr. Cooper my teenage icon. We met quite often and he gave me his autograph with the caption: "Clean your room", because I told him, that I was listening to his music instead of cleaning my teenage mess.
